Code of Conduct for Employees

Simmermon One Employee Code of Conduct

Purpose

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure that all Simmermon One team members uphold the company’s values of respect, integrity, teamwork, and positivity. Every employee represents Simmermon One — both in and out of the workplace — and is expected to maintain a standard of behavior that reflects our mission:

“To create a welcoming, exciting environment where flavor, fun, and innovation come together.”

1. Professionalism and Respect

  • Treat all guests, coworkers, and managers with courtesy, honesty, and professionalism.
  • Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind — including based on race, gender, age, disability, religion, or sexual orientation — will not be tolerated.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while at work and when representing Simmermon One

2. Workplace Conduct

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful workspace at all times.
  • Avoid disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior.
  • Follow all instructions given by management promptly and respectfully.
  • Personal calls, texting, or social media use should be limited to breaks unless authorized.

3. Appearance and Uniform

  • Employees are expected to follow the Simmermon One dress code.
  • Uniforms should be clean, neat, and worn as instructed.
  • Good personal hygiene is required to maintain a pleasant and professional environment.

4. Integrity and Responsibility

  • Always act honestly in all job duties, including handling cash, products, or company property.
  • Theft, fraud, or any form of dishonesty will result in immediate disciplinary action.
  • Protect confidential company information and respect guest privacy.

5. Health and Safety

  • Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or injuries immediately to management.
  • Horseplay, fighting, or unsafe behavior is strictly prohibited.
  • Alcohol, drugs, or being under the influence while on duty are not permitted.

6. Guest Experience

  • Every guest should feel welcomed, respected, and valued.
  • Handle complaints calmly and professionally — always notify a supervisor if you need assistance.
  • Strive to make each guest’s experience memorable through excellent service and a positive attitude.

7. Teamwork and Communication

  • Support your teammates and work together to achieve company goals.
  • Communicate openly and respectfully with coworkers and managers.
  • Help maintain a drama-free and solution-focused work environment.

8. Accountability

  • Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
  • All employees are expected to read, understand, and follow these policies as part of their employment with Simmermon One.
